What Window Tint Is
Window tint is a thin film applied to the inside of your car’s glass. It cuts glare, blocks UV rays and reduces the heat that builds up in the cabin, and darker shades add privacy. Films are made in different ways, and that changes how much heat they block. Our guide to ceramic, carbon and dyed tint explains the differences.
Washington law limits how dark tint can be. We will tell you what is legal for your car before anything is fitted.

How We Fit Your Tint
- Clean the glass. Every window is cleaned inside so no dust or grit ends up under the film.
- Cut and shape the film to each window.
- Apply and position it on the inside of the glass with a mounting solution, then squeegee the solution out so the film sits flat.
- Check every edge before the car goes home.
After your tint
New tint needs time to cure. For the first days it can look slightly hazy or show small water pockets. That is normal, and it clears on its own as the film dries. Curing is slower in cold, wet weather.
- Keep the windows up until we tell you it is safe. Rolling them down too early can peel the bottom edge.
- Don’t clean the inside of the glass while the film cures.
- Use ammonia-free glass cleaner and a soft cloth afterwards. Ammonia can damage tint over time.
