Ceramic Coating, PPF & Window Tint for Spanaway, WA Drivers

Spanaway driving is different from city driving. More open roads, more gravel on the shoulders, longer driveways, a lot of tall evergreens. All of that ends up on your car one way or another: chips on the bumper, sap on the roof, a yellow layer of pollen every spring.

The drive to our shop is about 7.1 miles, roughly 17 minutes.

Why Spanaway drivers make the trip

Most people come straight up Pacific Avenue (SR 7) toward Tacoma and turn off for East 63rd. One road, most of the way.

We are a fixed shop, so you bring the car to us. It is worked on indoors, which matters for coatings and film. Pollen and needles landing on fresh coating is exactly what we are trying to avoid.

What we offer

Our ceramic coating packages use FeynLab coatings: Silver from $799, Gold from $1,199, Platinum from $1,599.

Paint protection film starts at $2,000 for a Partial Front and $2,500 for a Full Front. Track and Full Body are quoted.

Auto detailing starts at $300. Window tinting starts at $150 for the front two windows or $500 for sides and rear, within Washington’s legal limits.

For paint that is already tired, paint correction is quoted after we see it. Icon Rocklear coating is also by quote, and comes with Icon Rocklear’s 15 year manufacturer warranty on paint, under their terms.

Gravel, sap and pollen

Gravel is the obvious one. Even at moderate speed, loose stones from a shoulder or an unpaved driveway chip the lower doors and front bumper. PPF is the real fix for that.

Sap is sneakier. Left on paint in the sun, tree sap can etch into the clear coat. A coating does not make paint immune, but it gives you a slick surface that sap and pollen do not grip as hard, so they come off with a gentle wash instead of hard scrubbing.

And the honest caveat: no product means you never wash the car again. A coated car still needs regular, gentle washing. It just gets a lot easier.

Winter is its own problem out here. Wet roads, darker evenings and whatever is on the road surface all end up sprayed along the sides of the car. If you only do one thing before winter, a thorough detail and a coating will make the next few months of washing far less of a chore.

On the day

Book by phone first. We go over the car with you when you arrive, write down existing damage, confirm what we are doing and what it costs, and let you know when to come back.

Spanaway FAQs

Yes. It is a thick film designed to take small impacts. Lower panels and the front end are the usual areas to cover on a car that sees gravel often.

Usually, during a detail. If it has etched the clear coat, it may need paint correction, and we will tell you which after looking.

It depends on how and where you park. A car under evergreens will need more attention than one in a garage. We can give you a straight answer once we see it.
